Service Description

Our signature full-service spa groom begins with our Prima Bathing System, delivering a deep yet gentle cleanse that hydrates, detoxifies, and nourishes the skin and coat. This premium service includes nail trimming, ear plucking and cleaning, external gland expression, a warm, relaxing blow dry, and light brushing for well-maintained coats only (no de-matting). Finished with a customized, breed-appropriate haircut designed for your dog’s coat type, comfort, and lifestyle. Recommended every 4–6 weeks. Frequency depends on activity level, outdoor exposure, home brushing habits, and coat texture. Regular professional grooming prevents coat damage and keeps skin healthy. For double-coated breeds: Routine bathing removes dead undercoat so the coat can function properly—insulating in winter and cooling in summer. Without regular maintenance, the undercoat compacts and cannot regulate temperature as intended. For curly-coated breeds: Consistent grooming supports curl pattern, reduces tangling, prevents matting before it begins, and keeps the coat soft, fluffy, and manageable.


Cancellation Policy

At The Pampered Pup, each grooming appointment is reserved especially for your pet. Because we provide gentle, cage-free, one-on-one care, last-minute changes directly affect our schedule, our staff, and the pups waiting for earlier openings. To keep things running smoothly, we ask all clients to follow our cancellation and waitlist guidelines below. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy 48-Hour Notice Required We kindly ask for 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Fees Based on Notice Given 48–24 hours’ notice: A $35 cancellation/reschedule fee will apply. Less than 24 hours’ notice: A fee of 75% of the total scheduled service will apply. No-shows: Automatically charged 75% of the appointment total and considered a last-minute cancellation. Repeat Late Cancellations If a client reaches three cancellations, reschedules, or no-shows (within 48 hours), they must prepay in full for all future appointments. Deposits For new clients or any client with repeated last-minute cancellations: A $25–$50 deposit may be required to schedule. Deposits are applied to the final bill at checkout. Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation policies are not met. Waitlist Policy If we are fully booked, we’re happy to add you to our waitlist. Let us know the days/times you prefer. Openings are offered in the order clients were added. When reached, you will have 15 minutes to confirm. If we don’t hear back, we will move to the next client to keep the schedule flowing. Cancellation fees still apply to any waitlist appointment you accept. Why These Policies Matter Our salon is structured to give pets a calm, safe, unrushed grooming experience.
